    Reading the result

    Accepted for sending
The message is ready for delivery. Wait for a separate delivery result.
    Delivered
The receiving mail server accepted the message. Check the inbox and spam folder.
    Deferred or bounced
A delay can be temporary. A bounce indicates a delivery problem; the server response can explain why.
    Failed, rejected or unknown
For failed or rejected messages, inspect the reported reason. An unknown outcome confirms neither success nor failure: the message may have been sent, so it is not automatically resent.

Open a test to inspect its start time, event history and available SMTP diagnostics. Codes in the 4xx range usually indicate temporary failures; 5xx usually indicate permanent failures. Read the full server response for context. Diagnostic data is also available as JSON. Report links work without the cookie: anyone with the link can read a report until it expires.

    Privacy & limits

The recipient address and delivery report are kept for up to 7 days. Anyone with the report link can view it, so share it carefully. A first-party cookie remembers tests in this browser for up to 30 days; clearing it starts a new history. We do not track email opens or reads. Automated verification helps protect the service from abuse.

Test only mailboxes you own or have permission to test. Limits: 3 requests per mailbox per hour, 10 per IP per hour, 30 per domain per hour, and a service-wide daily cap. Failed attempts can count. Opening and reading are not tracked.
